Adowa is the visionary founder of Adowa - Keeper Of The Beauty, LLC, where we are committed to elevating artists and illuminating the power of creativity as both expression and enterprise. Her artistic journey began later in life, inspired by a deeply personal moment—receiving a painting from her brother at age 14. Decades later, following his passing, she answered a calling to create, transforming grief into purpose and founding Adowa as a platform to nurture and uplift other creatives.

Over the past three years, Adowa has developed a distinctive mixed media practice that has earned international recognition. Her work has led to invitations to prestigious artist residencies in Paris and New York, as well as exhibitions such as the Miami Art Festival. She has also been selected for a highly competitive art and culture fellowship in Japan and will participate in the Senegal Art Festival. Through her work and leadership, we aim to guide artists in mastering both their craft and the business of art—empowering them to move beyond the “starving artist” narrative and into sustainable creative careers.
